This Privacy Policy explains how Lemma CV handles personal information when you visit the website, create an account, upload or enter resume information, tailor documents, export materials, or contact us.

1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly, information generated through your use of the service, and limited technical information needed to operate and secure the website.

  • Account information, such as name, email address, login details, plan status, billing status, and support communications.
  • Resume, CV, cover letter, job description, application, work history, education, skills, certifications, achievements, links, and other content you upload, paste, type, generate, edit, save, or export.
  • Usage and technical data, such as device and browser information, pages visited, timestamps, logs, errors, feature usage, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, cookies, and security events.
  • Payment and subscription information processed by payment providers. Lemma CV does not need your full payment card number to operate the resume workflow.

2. How we use information

  • Provide, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve Lemma CV.
  • Create, tailor, format, review, export, and store resumes, CVs, cover letters, and related application materials.
  • Process accounts, subscriptions, quotas, billing status, authentication, customer support, and service communications.
  • Detect abuse, fraud, security risks, technical issues, and violations of our terms.
  • Analyze product performance and improve workflows, templates, prompts, quality, reliability, and user experience.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce agreements.

3. AI model processing

Lemma CV may send the content you provide, including resume/CV text, cover letter text, job descriptions, prompts, edits, and related context, to third-party AI model providers to generate or improve outputs. These providers may include OpenAI / ChatGPT, Anthropic / Claude, DeepSeek, Google / Gemini, xAI / Grok, and other comparable providers used by Lemma CV.

The exact providers used may vary by feature, availability, cost, performance, safety, or reliability. Providers may process data on servers outside your country or region. Their handling of submitted data is also governed by their applicable terms, privacy policies, data processing terms, and subprocessors.

4. Sharing information

We share information only where needed to operate, secure, support, or improve Lemma CV; comply with law; complete transactions; or protect rights and safety.

  • AI model and infrastructure providers that process prompts, documents, outputs, logs, or technical requests.
  • Hosting, database, storage, authentication, analytics, monitoring, email, support, and payment providers.
  • Professional advisers, regulators, authorities, courts, or counterparties where required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, and security.
  • Successors or potential successors in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

No online service, AI provider, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for choosing what information you submit and for keeping your account credentials safe.

Lemma CV and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Those countries may have different data protection laws. Where required, we rely on appropriate transfer mechanisms or safeguards for international transfers.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of your personal information. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent and to complain to a data protection authority.

10. Children

Lemma CV is not intended for children under 16. Do not use the service or submit personal information if you are under 16, unless a parent or legal guardian has lawfully authorized the use where permitted.
